INSTRUCTIONS FOR VMWARE USERS |
If you downloaded the ZIP file, then you can find a VMX configuration file in the 'data' directory. It will work with VMware Player, Workstation, Fusion, and Server. It will not work with
ESX. If you want to configure a VM from scratch, then you need to know a few things. 1) You do not need a Hard Disk. You just need to use the ChromiumVM.iso as the CD-ROM device. 2) Set "NAT" for the type network connection. 3) Use at least 256MB of RAM. The more you use, the more you can do. Heavy users should use 512MB or more. 4) You don't need a Floppy or USB support. Windows users need to Start X before using the VM. That's pretty much it. |
